What you'll do

• Document care, responses, vitals, and changes in condition
• assess residents and identify interventions to prevent decline
• notify appropriate staff and physicians about changes
• administer medications and treatments and place medication orders
• respond to emergencies and arrange medical attention as needed
• admit, transfer, or discharge residents
• notify families of transfers or hospital admissions
• maintain clinical files and charts.
