What you'll do

• Provide direct nursing care and supervise day-to-day nursing activities on the assigned unit
• review and participate in updating resident care plans
• admit, transfer, and discharge residents
• monitor resident status, medication passes, and treatment schedules
• communicate changes in condition to physicians and responsible parties
• document reports and incidents
• support staff assignments, training, and performance
• maintain resident confidentiality and rights
• promote safety, sanitation, and infection control
• take vital signs and start IVs or obtain ordered specimens as needed.
