What you'll do

• Provide preventive skin care, dressing changes, and wound care
• monitor resident turning and positioning
• document and communicate decubitus ulcer treatment to physicians and families
• make physician rounds as needed
• assess weekly nutrition and hydration for residents with Stage I–IV decubitus ulcers and evaluate or initiate additional nutritional intake as required
• maintain and restock the treatment cart
• follow infection-control procedures.
