• Manage and direct grading crews
• plan and coordinate daily work
• interpret project plans and specifications
• communicate material, equipment, and staffing needs to the superintendent
• inspect work for quality, accuracy, and productivity
• enforce safety procedures
• complete production, personnel, vehicle, safety, and inspection reports
• improve production methods and equipment performance
• participate in personnel actions and ensure compliance with company policies.
