The Travel Registered Dietitian role is onsite in Warm Springs, MT, for $2,300–$2,500 gross per week. The 13-week assignment follows a Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. schedule with no call. The facility is Montana’s only public psychiatric hospital and provides inpatient psychiatric treatment for adults with serious mental illness. The dietitian provides individualized medical nutrition therapy to inpatients and outpatients, supporting nutrition needs and care planning. The role also contributes nutrition expertise to interdisciplinary care, staff education, food-service quality checks, and facility accreditation documentation.

What you'll do

• Assess patients and develop nutrition care plans
• provide nutrition counseling, education, and special therapies
• oversee nutrition therapy for complex and high-risk cases
• educate staff, students, healthcare personnel, and the public as needed
• modify patient profiles for nutritional needs, intolerances, and preferences
• participate in interdisciplinary care conferences
• conduct food-service quality assurance checks
• prepare accreditation reports and documents.
