What you'll do

• Unload incoming shipments using appropriate equipment
• inspect for damage or discrepancies
• verify quantities and quality against purchase orders and packing lists
• update warehouse inventory records
• label and store items
• assist with inventory counts, picking, packing, and shipping
• follow food safety and workplace safety procedures
• maintain receiving records and reports
• coordinate with suppliers, drivers, and internal departments
• keep the receiving area organized.
