Mental Health Technician

What you'll do

• Monitor patient safety and observe behavior
• assist with activities of daily living and personal care
• support therapeutic and recreational activities
• use verbal de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques
• monitor vital signs and document patient information
• escort patients throughout the facility as needed
• promote a safe, supportive, therapeutic environment
• collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other clinical staff
• and participate in treatment team meetings and patient education activities.
