Job overview

The Mixing/Batching Team Member role is onsite in Laurel, MD. The schedule requires starting between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM Monday through Thursday, with shifts up to 11 hours; the target is four days and 40 hours. Pay is $16–$19.25 per hour. The role supports CAVA Foods’ manufacturing center, which supplies products to CAVA restaurants and retail partners. The team member prepares ingredients and batches products for packaging, following recipes, traceability requirements, food quality and safety standards, and production instructions. The work contributes to safe, timely production of CAVA food products.

What you'll do

• Set up ingredient preparation and batching areas
• prepare, inspect, wash, size-reduce, and portion raw materials
• label and stage ingredients
• operate processing equipment under supervision
• assist with sanitation and equipment breakdown after changeovers
• complete food safety, quality, and production documentation
• follow safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.
