The Licensed Veterinary Technician – Woodlake Animal Hospital role is onsite in Midlothian, VA, with compensation of $28–$34 per hour, depending on licensure and experience. The technician assists veterinarians and the medical support team with clinical care, diagnostics, surgery, medication administration, patient monitoring, client education, and hospital operations to support safe, high-quality care for pets and their families.

What you'll do

• Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients
• prepare, monitor, and recover surgical patients
• assist with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
• perform laboratory diagnostics
• operate radiology and ultrasound equipment
• administer prescribed medications and vaccines
• maintain controlled-drug logs and medical records
• educate clients
• maintain treatment and surgical areas
• monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
