Class A CDL Driver — Utility Vegetation Management

Job overview

The Class A CDL Driver role is onsite in Beaufort, SC, with pay of $18 per hour. The driver supports utility vegetation management by helping remove branches and tree material from electrical lines. Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services provide vegetation management services. The driver operates heavy equipment and supports the crew’s daily field work, safety, and cleanup. The role contributes to keeping electrical lines clear and may perform storm restoration work, including out-of-town travel when needed.

What you'll do

• Operate equipment as directed
• prepare equipment and materials
• help maintain and repair tools and equipment
• assist crew members
• remove and dispose of debris
• set up barriers and warning signs
• track and report mileage
• perform storm work as needed.
