What you'll do

• Conduct nutrition assessments and determine risk factors for WIC certification and recertification
• provide nutrition and breastfeeding education and support
• develop high-risk care plans and document education
• recommend supplemental foods and formulas
• prescribe food packages and issue benefits
• schedule follow-up
• refer participants to community services
• consult with medical professionals
• maintain confidential records
• participate in WIC training.
