Product Owner – Data & Analytics

Job overview

The Product Owner – Data & Analytics role is remote, with occasional travel to MEM’s home office in Columbia, MO; pay is $100,000–$150,000 per year. The role supports MEM Insurance’s Data & Analytics team and its work to improve organizational decision-making through data products and analytics. The product owner connects business stakeholders with technical teams to define, prioritize, and deliver data products and reporting solutions. The role also supports data governance, quality assurance, user adoption, and continuous improvement so teams can use reliable, accessible information effectively.

What you'll do

• Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and the Data & Analytics team
• maintain and prioritize the backlog
• translate needs into user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria
• participate in Agile ceremonies
• monitor progress and dependencies
• collaborate on data modeling, reporting, visualization, and pipelines
• support data governance and asset documentation
• develop and execute user acceptance testing
• coordinate issue resolution
• support releases, training, adoption, and continuous improvement.
