Outpatient Pharmacist

What you'll do

• Prepare and dispense medications according to appropriate techniques and policies
• design, recommend, monitor, and evaluate patient-specific pharmacotherapy
• respond to drug-information requests from providers and patients
• educate patients and caregivers about medication use
• use pharmacy support personnel effectively
• support continuity of pharmaceutical care between acute and ambulatory settings
• participate in medication-error assessment, management, and reporting
• participate in medical emergency management.
