The DeltaV Automation Engineer role is onsite in Frederick, MD, with compensation of $120,000–$140,000 per year. The role exists to deliver reliable process control by configuring, integrating, commissioning, and troubleshooting Emerson DeltaV systems. It contributes to manufacturing operations through system testing, equipment integration, documentation, upgrades, and collaboration with engineering, operations, maintenance, and vendors.

What you'll do

• Configure and maintain Emerson DeltaV distributed control systems
• develop and modify control modules, equipment modules, graphics, alarms, and control strategies
• support integration, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting
• integrate process equipment and instrumentation
• troubleshoot hardware, software, I/O, communications, and control issues
• support Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing, and system testing
• document changes, configurations, testing, and troubleshooting
• support upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement
• follow safety, quality, and site procedures.
