The client is a Bay Area general contractor building architect-designed custom homes. The project manager leads custom-home projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating budgets, schedules, quality, safety, contracts, and project teams. The role keeps owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and trades aligned while delivering projects to the client’s requirements.

What you'll do

• Set project objectives and plans and select project teams and subcontractors
• lead preconstruction budgets and schedules
• review drawings and specifications
• level proposals and negotiate subcontracts and purchase orders
• manage project accounting and monthly open-book cost reporting
• maintain schedules
• coordinate project participants
• manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and change orders
• lead meetings
• track procurement and lead times
• inspect sites for progress, quality, and safety
• manage punch lists, warranties, and closeout.
