Certified Sterile Processing Technician

What you'll do

• Coordinate cleaning, decontamination, assembly, and dispensing of surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies
• assist with department space allocation
• attend required in-services and education
• ensure the Central Sterile team meets Surgery Department needs
• conduct periodic tray audits
• report occurrences
• maintain regulatory records
• monitor repairs and replacement orders
• review surgery schedules
• maintain current sterile processing certification.
