Factory Applications Engineer — CNC Installation and Applications

Job overview

The Factory Applications Engineer role is onsite in Davis, CA, with travel to customer sites of up to 75%. Compensation is $38.46–$45.67 per hour. What you'll do

• Install, assemble, commission, and quality-test CNC machines and automation systems
• design and fabricate fixtures and workholding
• define and troubleshoot machining processes
• estimate customer part cycle times
• create CNC programs using CAPPS, CAM systems, G-code, and macros
• set up machines
• inspect parts using hand tools and a CMM
• train service engineers
• maintain customer relationships and technical documentation
• travel to customer sites as required.
