Plasma Operator Day Shift

What you'll do

• Loading raw materials and programming CNC machines to cut, drill, and grind materials into specified shapes.
• Interpreting CAD drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications to set up the plasma cutting process.
• Inspecting finished parts using precision measurement tools (micrometers, verniers) to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Performing daily checks, maintaining coolant/oil levels, and cleaning the machine and work area.
• Following all safety protocols, including wearing protective gear, handling material with overhead cranes, and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Adjusting machine settings, cutting parameters, and troubleshooting to fix operational issues.
