What you'll do

• Greet and escort patients
• verify information and document charts
• take medical histories and obtain consent forms
• conduct ocular tests
• alert physicians to relevant changes
• administer topical ophthalmic or oral medications
• record exam and treatment results
• maintain clinical equipment and supplies
• support a clean and sterile environment
• follow OSHA, infectious-waste, and HIPAA procedures.
