Dietary Aide

Job overview

The Dietary Aide role is onsite in Quincy, MA. Compensation is $15–$18 per hour. The position supports food service for patients and others at Affinity Healthcare. The aide prepares and serves food, prepares patient trays according to instructions or orders, and maintains clean food-service areas and equipment. The role also delivers food and supplies to nursing units and follows food-safety, infection-control, and workplace-safety practices.

What you'll do

• Prepare and serve food
• prepare patient trays according to instructions or orders
• use proper food-handling techniques
• wash and sanitize dishes, silverware, and utensils
• clean dishwashing areas, work areas, and equipment
• stock food storage areas and refrigerators
• deliver food, nourishment, and supplies to nursing units
• follow infection-control and safety practices
• attend and participate in in-service education.
