What you'll do
- Review schematics, layouts, and Gerber files with design teams using design-for-manufacturability and design-for-test principles
- develop, validate, and document SMT, soldering, inspection, coating, and assembly processes
- support prototype and pilot builds, troubleshooting, and production training
- maintain work instructions, test procedures, bills of materials, and engineering change orders
- collaborate with hardware, test, quality, and materials teams
- improve yield, cost, reliability, safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity.
