Furnace Operator – 1st or 2nd Shift

The Furnace Operator role is onsite in Laconia, NH. Compensation is $20–$22 per hour. Bodycote provides thermal processing services, and this position performs heat-treatment work to meet customer specifications. The operator assists with heat-treating equipment and prepares customer inventory for processing, following procedures and safety practices to protect product quality and prevent loss or damage.

What you'll do

• Assist with operating, controlling, and monitoring heat-treating and related equipment according to procedures and customer paperwork
• prepare work for processing
• load and unload furnaces, bins, fixtures, and baskets
• report unusual problems to a supervisor
• maintain safety and housekeeping
• perform other assigned tasks
• obtain and maintain forklift certification.
