Registered Nurse (RN), Labor and Delivery — Night Shift is an onsite, 13-week assignment in Hyannis, MA. The traveler pay rate is $85–$88 per hour. The role provides maternal and patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit. The nurse uses the nursing process to assess patient needs, develop and carry out individualized care plans, monitor maternal and fetal status, and communicate with the care team. The schedule is three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, with every other weekend and rotating holidays.

What you'll do

• Provide comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• assess physical, psychological, and social needs
• develop individualized care plans
• administer medications and monitor responses
• monitor maternal and fetal status
• document care
• communicate with physicians and healthcare professionals
• guide ancillary personnel
• perform Charge Nurse responsibilities as required
• support staff orientation and education
• participate in quality improvement
• and follow safety, infection-control, hospital policies, and confidentiality requirements.
