VP General Manager - Materials (IN/OH) This is a hybrid position located in Sylvania, OH. Compensation is not specified. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies to manage budgets, costs, and production plans for materials in Central/North Indiana and North Ohio, while building customer relationships and leading management teams.

What you'll do

• Develop, measure, and adjust performance results, manager budgets, and costs.
• Provide vision and strategies, align business goals with the regional and organizational strategy of the Midwest Region and the Heidelberg Material organization.
• Create a production plan, adapt to market conditions.
• Lead and develop management, ensure effective talent strategies.
• Build key customer relationships, engage with industry and community, direct sales and marketing.
• Identify and implement improvements, leverage technology for better customer experience and cost savings.

What we're looking for

Education

Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred.

Experience

10+ years in the construction industry with exposure to multiple product lines (aggregates preferred). 7-10 years in sales, operations, or engineering roles, with a focus on safety. Prior leadership experience as well as M & A and developing business cases to support growth projects.
