Head of Housekeeping

The Head of Housekeeping role is onsite in East Moline, IL. Compensation is $16.00–$19.50 per hour. The position supports Park Vista’s senior housing community and its mission to help residents live their best years. The role performs scheduled hands-on housekeeping and maintains cleanliness across resident units and common areas. It also supports resident care plans, responds to housekeeping issues, handles hazardous materials and bodily-fluid spills using standard precautions, and coordinates equipment or maintenance concerns with the appropriate staff.

What you'll do

• Perform scheduled cleaning of showers, toilets, floors, vanities, and countertops
• vacuum, dust, and remove garbage
• maintain housekeeping in resident units and common areas
• complete daily checklists
• provide additional services requested in resident care plans
• collect and dispose of trash
• use and store chemicals according to community and OSHA guidelines
• monitor equipment and report issues
• respond to spills and broken glass
• handle hazardous materials and bodily-fluid spills using standard precautions
• submit maintenance work orders.
