Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Technician

Job overview

The Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Technician role is onsite in Washington, DC. Pay is $25–$50 per hour. Tech24 provides commercial kitchen equipment maintenance and repair services to foodservice businesses. The technician travels by company vehicle to customer sites to troubleshoot, inspect, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment. The role supports safe equipment operation and reliable customer service through repair updates, service documentation, and vehicle and parts readiness.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• inspect equipment and related components for safe operation
• communicate repair status with customers and branch staff
• complete service tickets
• track truck stock
• maintain the service vehicle, tools, and uniforms
• follow company safety policies
• support less experienced technicians by setting a positive example.
