Program Manager – Aerospace and Defense

The Program Manager – Aerospace and Defense role is onsite in Las Cruces, NM, with compensation of $140,000–$185,000 per year and travel of up to 25%. The role coordinates customer programs across sales, engineering, operations, quality, finance, and supply chain at Spectra Defense Technologies. The manager guides programs from award through fulfillment and post-sale support, aligning schedules, resources, technical requirements, customer commitments, and financial performance to deliver programs on plan and meet customer expectations.

What you'll do

• Support business development and proposal responses
• transition awarded programs into fulfillment
• review customer contracts and purchase orders
• coordinate engineering and system integration
• develop and manage integrated schedules
• communicate program status to customers and internal teams
• lead customer milestones and reviews
• manage deliverables, scope changes, risks, and corrective actions
• coordinate qualification testing and production readiness
• track budgets, costs, margins, and program profit and loss
• support warranty and follow-on issues.
