The Therapist role is primarily in person in San Francisco, California, with 40%–100% in-person work depending on FTE. Associate pay is $38.82 per hour and licensed pay is $49.18 per hour; certified bilingual clinicians in Spanish, Chinese, or Tagalog receive a $1-per-working-hour differential. Lyon-Martin Community Health Services provides compassionate, trauma-informed care to trans, non-binary, gender non-conforming, and intersex communities and cis-gender women.

What you'll do

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat mental health and substance use disorders in individual sessions
• complete gender-affirming procedure assessments and letters of support
• de-escalate mental health emergencies
• facilitate group therapy
• use appropriate referrals and collateral supports
• attend team and supervision meetings. The role may include crisis intervention, brief behavioral interventions, psychosocial assessments, and clinical case management.
