Math Instructor / Tutor

Job overview

The Math Instructor / Tutor role is based at the Mathnasium of Daly City-Pacifica center in Pacifica, CA, with in-center, online, or hybrid instruction described. Compensation is $20–$25 per hour. Mathnasium centers teach children to understand, master, and enjoy math. The instructor delivers individualized instruction in a group setting, monitors student progress, and helps students build mathematical understanding and confidence. The role supports the center’s educational services through instruction, feedback on student work, and collaboration with the team.

What you'll do

• Provide instruction and tutoring
• interact with parents
• learn digital educational materials and processes
• teach in-center, online, and/or through hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method
• assess student progress
• collaborate with team members
• evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework
• help maintain a clean learning environment
• assist with non-instructional tasks as needed.
