What you'll do

• Lead and perform fiber splicing and testing
• coordinate in-house and contracted field splice and test crews
• troubleshoot fiber using OTDR equipment
• maintain crew performance standards and project schedules
• conduct OTDR and light meter testing and prepare results
• manage materials and administrative records
• ensure safety practices
• communicate schedules and delivery dates
• prepare splice packages, fiber layer records, test results, and as-built packages
• operate bucket trucks and work aloft
• cover on-call shifts for the CNS fiber network.
