Job overview

The Server role is onsite in Saint Helena, SC, supporting Fripp Island Golf & Beach Resort’s new Beach Club Restaurant and resort dining and event operations. Compensation is not specified. The opening team will help establish the restaurant’s service culture and standards for members and resort guests. This role owns the assigned table experience from greeting through farewell, using menu and beverage knowledge, accurate order and payment handling, and attentive service to create a memorable guest experience.

What you'll do

• Welcome members and guests and follow approved Steps of Service
• manage assigned tables from greeting through farewell
• learn menu items, beverages, ingredients, allergens, preparation methods, and availability
• enter orders in Toast and communicate allergies, modifiers, pacing, and requests
• make responsible recommendations
• maintain tables, service stations, sidework, and sanitation
• process checks, payments, cash, comps, corrections, and tips accurately
• follow responsible alcohol-service and identification requirements
• address routine concerns and involve a manager when needed
• work across trained outlets, banquets, and events based on business needs.
