The role also involves planning, observation and assessment, family communication, documentation, and coordination with program staff.
What you'll do
- Implement a child-centered curriculum and learning environment
- collaborate with the Lead Teacher on lesson plans and individualization
- collect anecdotes and observations and assess children using Teaching Strategies Gold three times a year
- provide positive guidance and support kindergarten readiness
- encourage parent participation in conferences and home visits
- maintain parent communication and documentation
- refer developmental concerns to the appropriate coordinator
- support classroom inventory and analyze child outcomes with the teaching team.

Why this role
