Software Engineer

Job overview

Compensation is $16–$17 per hour. The Software Engineer role is onsite in the Annapolis Junction / Fort Meade area of Maryland, and Artera Technologies develops software and systems engineering solutions for the Intelligence Community and supports mission-critical systems. The engineer develops, maintains, tests, and improves software for DoD and Intelligence Community programs. The work contributes to system performance and mission needs through software design, implementation, analysis, and collaboration with users and system engineers.

What you'll do

• Develop, maintain, and enhance software systems
• review and test components against design requirements
• apply appropriate development methodologies
• contribute to system design and requirements analysis
• design database interfaces and queries
• develop algorithms
• analyze system performance and workflows
• modify software to correct errors or improve performance
• develop software using high-level languages.
