Vice President of Service & Field Operations

Job overview

The Vice President of Service & Field Operations role is onsite in Tempe, AZ, with compensation of $250,000–$300,000 per year. The position leads GTI Fabrication’s new Service & Field Operations business unit, supporting on-site installation, aftermarket maintenance, repair, and technical field support for its equipment product lines. The executive will establish the unit’s strategy, commercial model, operating infrastructure, and team, with full P&L accountability. The role is intended to build a scalable service business that strengthens customer support and contributes a new growth engine for GTI.

What you'll do

• Define service-market strategy, customer segments, service tiers, pricing, and SLAs
• manage the service P&L
• integrate service packages, warranties, and SLAs into equipment contracts
• build field-service processes, dispatch, work-order management, fleet logistics, tooling, and parts inventory
• establish safety and quality standards
• recruit and develop field teams
• deploy service, CRM, mobile, and remote-diagnostic systems
• track KPIs and route field feedback to Engineering and Operations.
