The Lead Certified Medical Assistant — Pediatrics role is onsite in Oak Lawn, IL, with three 12-hour shifts and pay of $20–$26 per hour. Pediatrics On Demand provides urgent and primary care to patients from birth through age 21. The lead medical assistant supports doctors and nurses with patient care and clinic operations, while coordinating tasks during the shift. The role combines patient intake, clinical procedures, records, scheduling, supplies, and support for pediatric examinations and treatment.

What you'll do

• Answer patient calls
• measure height, weight, and vital signs
• schedule patients and enter data in an electronic medical record
• room patients and record chief complaints
• collect in-house lab samples as ordered
• administer injections
• draw blood, remove sutures, and change dressings as required
• prepare and clean treatment rooms
• maintain supplies and equipment
• assist physicians during examinations
• delegate shift tasks and report tardiness.
