The role supports residents at Rose View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center through daytime activities scheduled between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM, or 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM on weekdays and weekends. The aide assists the Activities Director with recreational and social programs that promote residents’ physical activity, mental stimulation, emotional well-being, and social connection. The role helps residents participate, documents their responses, and works with nursing, therapy, and other departments to support resident-centered care.

What you'll do

• Assist with planning and leading games, crafts, music programs, outings, exercise sessions, and holiday celebrations
• set up and clean activity areas
• escort residents to and from activities using safe techniques
• encourage participation and provide one-on-one engagement as needed
• document participation and responses
• organize activity supplies
• collaborate with nursing staff, therapy teams, and other departments.
