Human Resources Manager – Vermont ISP Operating Company

The Human Resources Manager role is onsite in South Royalton, VT. Salary is $80,000–$90,000 per year. The manager supports Vermont ISP Operating Company (VISPO), which builds, operates, and maintains the ECFiber network serving East Central Vermont communities. The role exists to guide HR compliance and help employees and the organization grow. Through recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, talent development, benefits education, and strategic partnership with leadership, the manager supports VISPO’s workforce and community-focused broadband operations.

What you'll do

• Monitor employment laws and regulations
• maintain job descriptions and termination documentation
• represent VISPO at job fairs
• source candidates and manage talent communications
• onboard new hires
• assess training needs
• oversee apprenticeship and internship programs
• support performance evaluations and employee relations
• coordinate benefits and wellness initiatives
• advise leaders and implement HR strategies.
