What you'll do

• Open reception and waiting areas and prepare daily materials
• answer and route calls
• use the electronic medical record and related programs
• check in and register patients
• update insurance and demographic information
• maintain HIPAA confidentiality
• communicate messages and delays
• collect and record payments
• schedule and reschedule appointments
• assist patients with forms and mobility needs
• support coworkers and train new front-desk staff
• reconcile funds and secure the facility at closing.
