Project Administrator – Construction Projects

Job overview

The Project Administrator – Construction Projects role is onsite in Virginia Beach, VA. Compensation is $52,000–$101,000 per year. Hourigan is a construction management and development firm focused on managing complex projects and building collaborative partnerships. Working alongside a Project Engineer and Project Manager, the administrator coordinates project documentation, billing support, meeting records, and closeout materials. The role helps project teams meet contract requirements, obtain necessary approvals, and maintain effective communication with owners, design teams, subcontractors, and other partners.

What you'll do

• Prepare, process, track, and manage project documents using Procore
• review documentation for accuracy and contract compliance
• manage subcontractor billing and assist with owner billing using Textura
• prepare closeout documents
• attend meetings, produce weekly minutes, and manage calendars
• assist with permits, bonds, and certificates of occupancy
• correspond with owners, architects/engineers, subcontractors, and team members
• participate in the safety and health management system.
