The Healthy Families Home Visiting Family Support Specialist role is onsite in Pittsburg, KS, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional evenings and weekends. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour. Kansas Children’s Service League is a statewide nonprofit whose mission is to protect and promote children’s well-being. The specialist builds trusting relationships with families through home visits, supporting positive home environments, parent-child attachment, parenting skills, and family goals using the Healthy Families America model and program tools.

What you'll do

• Engage families in voluntary services and complete initial enrollment visits and FROG assessments
• schedule and provide regular home visits
• conduct ongoing screens and assessments such as ASQ, ASQ-SE, and EPDS
• use the Growing Great Kids curriculum
• support families in developing and pursuing Family Goal Plans.
