The Discovery Associate Scientist role is onsite in Saco, ME; compensation is $65,000–$90,000 per year. The role supports MMQCI’s Discovery Team and early-stage molecular biology and molecular diagnostics projects. What you'll do

• Perform molecular biology techniques including reagent preparation, nucleic acid extraction, plasmid preparation, in vitro transcription, PCR, qPCR, and dPCR
• run experiments under Discovery Scientists’ direction
• document, organize, interpret, and present data
• learn new technologies and protocols
• support lab operations, inventory, cleaning, dishes, and basic equipment checks.
