Tree Climber

Job overview

The Tree Climber role is onsite in Birmingham, AL, and pays $23 per hour. W A Kendall and Company LLC provides tree and vegetation management services, including storm response work. The role exists to climb, prune, and remove trees safely under foreperson direction, supporting vegetation management operations. Work includes handling debris, using tree-care tools, inspecting equipment, and helping protect coworkers and the public from hazards.

What you'll do

• Climb, prune, and remove trees as directed
• load and unload logs, brush, and debris
• use hand and power tools
• inspect assigned equipment
• maintain a safe, orderly work area
• perform storm work as needed.
