The Limited Scope X-Ray Technologist / Medical Assistant role is onsite in Fort Collins, CO. Compensation is $26–$32 per hour. American Family Care provides walk-in urgent care seven days a week, with onsite labs and in-house X-ray capability. The role supports physicians’ diagnosis of injuries and disease by performing diagnostic imaging and preparing images for review. It also assists with patient registration, medical assisting, and prescribed treatments when needed.

What you'll do

• Greet patients and explain procedures
• position patients for imaging
• use ALARA radiation protection techniques
• process images and check identification and quality
• prepare images for physician and radiologist review
• operate digital and non-digital imaging equipment
• assist providers with prescribed treatments
• perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs
• maintain records and reports
• serve as receptionist or medical assistant when needed within appropriate guidelines.
