Structural Bridge Engineer

The Structural Bridge Engineer role is onsite in Idaho Falls, ID; The position supports infrastructure projects serving communities throughout Idaho, including work for ITD and LHTAC. The engineer contributes to the design, analysis, and delivery of bridges, retaining walls, culverts, and other transportation structures. Through technical design work and coordination with clients and multidisciplinary teams, the role helps deliver compliant, high-quality infrastructure projects.

What you'll do

• Plan, analyze, and design transportation structures
• prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, plans, specifications, and engineer’s cost estimates
• perform bridge load ratings and structural modeling
• review shop drawings and provide construction-phase engineering support
• assist with or lead cost estimates and quantity takeoffs
• ensure compliance with codes, standards, and permitting requirements
• coordinate with project teams and Idaho transportation clients.
