What you'll do

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable
• review, code, and coordinate vendor invoices
• assist with reconciliations, expense reports, and transaction verification
• evaluate and post customer deposits
• update daily transaction journals
• assist with month-end close, reconciliations, and journal entries
• reconcile period-end reports to the general ledger and reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• prepare journal entries for accruals, prepaids, reclasses, and fixed assets
• review accounting data for discrepancies
• provide payroll processing backup
• support monthly and quarterly reporting
• maintain spreadsheets and tracking systems
• assist with audit preparation and internal controls
• help improve processes, systems, and reporting workflows
• assist with analysis and special projects.
