The Accounts Receivable Specialist role is an onsite, temp-to-hire position in San Antonio, TX. Compensation is $21.00–$23.00 per hour; the schedule is Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, and Friday, 7:00 AM–12:00 PM. The role supports Sterling Foods’ Finance team in maintaining accurate customer accounts and day-to-day accounts receivable activities. This position helps keep customer financial records accurate and supports timely processing and resolution of receivables. The specialist handles invoicing and/or cash application, reconciles accounts, researches discrepancies, and coordinates with customers and internal departments.

What you'll do

• Maintain customer accounts and records
• prepare and process customer invoices and/or post and apply payments
• research account discrepancies and payment issues
• reconcile customer accounts
• review transactions and documentation
• perform data entry
• use Excel and other systems to track A/R information
• communicate with customers and internal departments
• support other Finance activities as assigned.
