After School Instructor

The After School Instructor role is onsite in Dixon, CA, part-time, with a schedule of Monday–Thursday, 1 p.m.–6 p.m., and Friday, 11:30 a.m.–6 p.m. Compensation is not specified. Catalyst Family’s ExpandEd Learning program provides after-school learning and enrichment for students from transitional kindergarten through eighth grade. The instructor supports students’ academic progress and development by providing tutoring, homework help, enrichment, and consistent supervision. The role also contributes to a safe, organized program through collaboration with school staff, attendance and progress tracking, and communication with families and the Site Coordinator.

What you'll do

• Provide tutoring, homework assistance, and educational enrichment
• support positive youth development and life skills. Collaborate on curriculum and procedures, supervise students, track attendance and progress, complete safety documentation and weekly lesson plans, communicate with families and the Site Coordinator, and participate in staff meetings and site events.
