Senior Design Engineer

The Senior Design Engineer role is onsite in Elkhart, IN. Compensation is not specified. The position supports RealTruck’s product development and manufacturing activities for truck, Jeep, Bronco, and off-road accessories. The role coordinates new product development and improvements to existing products, applying engineering expertise to design, testing, manufacturability, quality, and cost. It also supports the transfer of new products to manufacturing and maintains accurate product documentation.

What you'll do

• Develop product design concepts using CAD and other software
• redesign products to improve manufacturability, warranty performance, or cost
• initiate and validate engineering change notices
• analyze quality and warranty data
• define, oversee, and help perform product testing and audits
• support manufacturing engineering during product handoff
• maintain bills of materials and controlled drawings/CAD files
• coordinate product development activities.
