What you'll do

• Provide patient care under direct RN supervision
• answer call lights and assist with bathing, toileting, turning, and ice water
• collect and label venous puncture specimens
• apply EKG and telemetry leads as ordered
• perform rounding and safety measures
• obtain vital signs, accuchecks, weights, and intake/output
• maintain hand hygiene and isolation practices
• document care and maintain a clean, stocked patient environment
• communicate patient information to the RN.
