The Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) Set-Up Technician / Operator role is onsite in San Diego, CA, with pay of $36–$42 per hour. CoreDux USA manufactures precision components for aerospace, semiconductor, medical device, energy, and advanced technology industries. The role sets up, operates, troubleshoots, and maintains EDM equipment to produce precision components that meet quality, delivery, and productivity requirements. It supports safe, repeatable manufacturing processes and the growth of the EDM Manufacturing Department.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate Wire EDM equipment
• verify setups and perform first-piece inspections
• monitor machining and make approved offsets
• perform in-process and final inspections
• interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
• replace consumables and perform routine equipment care
• support preventive maintenance, fixture setup, process optimization, new-job prove-outs, first-article inspection, and equipment startup.
